Civil War Cannon Tee from Emperial Nation

A t-shirt company whose slogan is “clothing inspired by history” is a company after my own heart, because history is a pretty awesome thing. Plus, I used to be really into the Civil War, so this tee is somewhat of a double winner. It’s also a really cool design, so that helps too I guess (pfff, who cares about designs?). I’m diggin’ the foil and hot pink outline on the cannon, it somewhat of an interesting take on a machine made to destroy things.

If you want to add this one to your closet it will hit your wallet for $39.00. Check out their other tees as well for some more historical awesomeness.

Horn Player from Ubiquity at 80’s Purple

Sticking with yesterday’s theme of music, here’s a sweet shirt from Ubiquity, conveniently for sale at 80’s Purple. I say conveniently because 80’s Purple was also kind enough to offer me a coupon code for 25% off all t-shirts (minus sale ones)–that was pretty nice of them. Just use code troundup to get the discount.

I dig the division of the shirt, with the blank space above and vertical lines below–it looks great. The horn player himself also looks pretty rad. You can pick it up for $22 ($16.5 with the coupon) at 80’s Purple.

P.S. Check out the other Ubiquity shirt I featured awhile back–it’s still just as awesome as it was back then.

Nike WMNS Air Max 90 – Purple/Black

The 3rd generation Air Max 90 is designed for maximum impact cushioning. The sole is engineered to absorb the force from repetitive pounding cause by playing sports and everyday life that can weaken the body. The Women’s Air Max 90 released a black and white colorway with purple accents. The base is constructed in white mesh with black leather ovelay and mudguard. It has purple lining and laces, with a fading accent on the heel of the midsole. The Nike logos and midsole are in white while the outsole is purple. Now that purple is in this summer, these shoes will be great accessories helping you get that beach body, pounding the pavements with your purple shorts and shirts while listening to purple rain in your i-pod!

Nike Air Max 90 Huarache Red-White

In time for the end of summer, these red hot joints hit stores early next month. The Air Max 90 Current Hurache red-white, an eye-catching colorway of the Air Max 90/Air Huarache hybrid sport a tonal red upper with a little white around the air unit, on the flywire and over the outsole. Like other Air Max Hurarache, the shoe is made up of a combination of materials including that current mesh. The Air Max 90 Current Huarache red-white releases in August. More pictures after the jump.

Nike Air 1/2 Cent Metallic Silver/Black

With the Air 1/2 Cent black/silver having recently released to glowing reviews and mass success, good news is on the way. The inverse colorway of that shoe—the Nike Air 1/2 Cent metallic silver/black—will drop in September. This one sports black synthetic material and metallic silver foam on the upper as well as a black and silver outsole and silver Swoosh. It’s of course finished off with a silhouette of Lil Penny on the heal. I suppose this must solidify Penny Hardaway as one of the footwear legends from basketball, as basically all of his shoes are pretty hot. More pictures after the jump.

Air Jordan Fusion 13 (aka AJF 13)

Jordan Brand is back in the Innovation Kitchen with the AJF series, now fusing the Air Jordan 13 and the Air Force 1 Mid to create the Air Jordan Fusion 13, or AJF 13 (or AJF XIII, I suppose). I don’t necessarily think the Air Jordan 13 is among the classics of that line to begin with, and this doesn’t really improve my opinion of it. Is it cop-worthy and I’m just being to true to the originals? The AJF 13 is dropping toward the end of 2009.

Nike Sportswear Fall/Holiday Line: Remixed Jackets

Keeping the Nike Sportwear Fall/Holiday Line going, here we have the remixed jackets. These include Loopwheeler Rivalry AW77’s, Loopwheeler Rivarly Windrunners, standard Windrunners, Eugene track jackets, Stadium jackets and M51 parkas. While some of these are normal styles we’ve seen in the past, several are new and, well … remixed styles, combing two or three popular concepts into one piece to create a unique new look. Like the rest of the NSW Fall/Holiday line, the Nike Sportswear remixed jackets are out now and over the next several weeks. The rest of the pictures after the jump; they’re worth checking out. There are like 50.

Nike SB Paul Rodriguez III Sport Red

While we wait for the Nike SB Zoom Paul Rodriguez III to drop, we keep seeing more and more colorways. The most recent should get folks amped, as it really has the look of a proper skate shoe with the red suede and textured nylon as well as the fat silhouette characteristic of the Zoom P-Rod series (as well as most SB performance kicks, save those rad Stefan Janokis). The first Zoom Paul Rodriguez III (P-Rod III) release will be August 8th, although I think various shops have put them up early, with these dropping right around then. Picture gallery after the jump.

Air Jordan 1 High Strap Black/Black-Orion Blue

The Air Jordan 1 Retros just keep coming, but as long as they look like this I have a feeling there won’t be any complaints. The Air Jordan 1 High Strap black/black-orion blue sports an all black, textured nylon upper intermixed with a smooth toebox and side panel, and orion blue on the accents, strap and midsole. Finally the shoe sports metal-capped bungee laces, rather than the flat laces that tend to be the norm on AJ1’s. The Air Jordan 1 High Strap black/black-orion blue release date is in November. And if you’re digging this Air Jordan 1, check out the similar-but-different-enough-to-cop-both Air Jordan 1 High Strap Black/Black-Orion Blue Several more pictures after the jump.

GI Joe + Nike: Zoom Sharkalaid Storm Shadow

As they did for Transformers, Nike has collaborated with Hasbro to create the Nike GI Joe Pack, in time for the movie “GI Joe: Rise of the Cobra.” First in the series is the Storm Shadow Sharkalaid, a white Sharkalaid with black straps and red accents, including the Cobra logo on the tongue. We know there will be three shoes in this set, which of course begs the question: Is Snake Eyes next? More pictures after the jump.

Mighty Crown + Nike Dynasty High Premium

The Nike Dynasty High is set to make a big return in 2010 as a part of the Nike Sportswear line. The shoe was originally released as a basketball shoe in 1981 and has a sort of Dunk High/Terminator feel. And while you will have to wait at least six months to get your hands on the general releases, a super-limited Mighty Crown + Nike collaboration will yield the Mighty Crown Nike Dynasty High Premium a little earlier.

The Mighty Crown Dynasty High, the third shoe created through a joint effort between Nike and the Japanese music group, sports premium materials throughout including perforated and snakeskin leather, studded ankle strap and glittery ankle padding. The Mighty Crown Nike Dynasty High is finished off with a patterned black midsole and red outsole as well as an extended tongue tag emblazoned with a Mighty Crown.

While the shoe is undeniably dope, it was unfortunately created in very limited amounts for the 15th annual Yokohama Reggae Festival. They could get a wider release around the time of the festival on September 5th, but it’s no sure thing. Stick with NB for details.
